Shipping and Tracking
Thanks for purchasing your item from Mechanics Warehouse. We ship from either our warehouse or up to 15 other warehouses around the United States. With Ground shipping; You could received an item as fast as 3 days after order is processed up to 10 business days or more depending on where you live and what was ordered.. We will do our best to get you a tracking number. If we ship from our own warehouse, tracking numbers can be sent to you as soon as the item is shipped. If we ship from another warehouse, it can take several days to get the tracking number. If you need a tracking number, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or go our tracking page..
Merchandise shipped from Mechanics Warehouse or other Warehouses is always complete and properly packaged. Any damage, loss, or missing claims must be made with the carrier. Unauthorized customer returns, or returns that are mis-shipped, mis-packaged, or mis-delivered, are not the responsibility of Mechanics Warehouse.
Mechanics Warehouse is only responsible for shipment, not delivery. We ship all merchandise complete, properly packaged. Any damage, loss, or missing claims must be made with the carrier unless shipping insurance is purchased. Read more below.
*Free shipping is available on some items, but it is only offered for the 1st shipment. Replacment or exchanged parts that are reordered are subject to shipping charges.
Shipping rates are for the 48 US contiguous states only! However, we are well equipped to ship to Canada as well. Canada deliveries will incur additional freight charges. To get a quote please email us the item you wish to purchase and your address. We will email a quote back to you.
All orders are processed upon clearance of payment. We always advise all customers
please allow up to 10 business days for delivery, in the event of unforeseen
shipping delays. Usually items are received within 4-7 business days after shipment.
We include additional shipping time to assure we meet our shipping guarantees
to our customers.

NOTE: We reserve the right to change shipping methods without notice. Some larger items may ship common carrier.
Items must be able to be shipped via UPS, FedEx ground, or DHL. If
an item is considered oversized, it will be noted on the webpage of the item
your buying. We will not charge your card for any fees without
approval. Below are just estimates on some items.
(A). All oversized shipments (110-130 cubic inches) could be assessed a $20.00 oversized charge. All oversized shipments (131-150 cubic inches) could be assessed a $30.00 oversized charge. All oversized3 shipments (150-up cubic inches) Can be assessed truck freight charges listed below. You may not receive notification of these charges, but we do try to contact every customer if your shipment is one of the above oversized shipments.
(B). Items which are not able to be shipped UPS or FedEx must be shipped via
common carrier, and might be assessed a freight charge of $99.95(Commercial
Address) - $125.00(Residential Address).

Receive your order in 3-7 business days. Order by 1p.m.(EST) for same day shipping.
As a reminder, we are responsible for Delivery and not shipping. After the product leaves are warehouse, we are no longer responsible. Please inspect all items upon arrival for damage and note it on the shippers invoice.
Shipping insurance details: If you choose to buy shipping insurance, we will assist you with a freight claim if your item was damaged. We will send a call tag to you at no charge for the item to be returned. The call tag will explain how the item is to be returned. Upon the item being picked up from you, we will then ship you the replacment item at no additional charge.
If you choose not to buy insurance from us at the time of purchase, the customer will be responsible to file a freight claim with the carrier. The claim will be handled completly by you(the customer) and the carrier. We are not affiliated with any shipping company. Each shipping company has their own freight claim process.
Returns and Exchanges.
Mechanics Warehouse will gladly accept returns under these guidelines: Item must be in resaleable condition (not installed), in original packaging and returned by the customer at customer's expense. We must be contacted within 14 days of purchase. (Holiday purchases are extended)
Exchanges will be allowed if item was not installed or damaged. Please call or email for a RMA number and address to send back item to exchange for another item of equal dollar value. Exchanges follow same guidelines as returns. Customer must pay for shipping charges and restock fee.
Returns are needed Within 14 days of purchase and subject to a 20% restock
fee.. However, purchases made from November 12th until December 24th can be
returned up to January 15th.
*Some items come with wording "Free shipping", this just means that the shipping costs are included in the total sale price. If you want to return any item, shipping costs are nonrefundable. Before returning an item, you must get an RGA number and find out how much shipping truely was for the item. Your refund will be the price you paid minus shipping costs and restock fee.
Any products refused upon delivery (other than damage to product) is also subject to 20% return fee and customer is responsible for shipping charges of the product both ways.
We are sorry but,
- No returns on programmers or electrical items
- No returns on painted items or installed parts
All returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge. All returns without exchange are subject to a return fee 20% of the purchase price of the item returned, also all freight charges. Any order canceled is subject to the same return fee. In addition: NO returns or exchanges or refunds on installed, custom made or used merchandise. All items are sold as is.
Shipping and Handling fees are non refundable items on all items purchased. (This includes Tonneau covers, nerf bars, programmers, etc.) Approximate shipping costs as per example: Items that ship common Carrier or are oversized are $150.00 for one way. You must get an RMA(Returned Merchandise Authorization)in order to return merchandise.
RMA numbers expire 30 days after they are issued. Items returned without an
RMA number or using an expired RMA number will be refused. Please read and follow
the instructions provided when returning an item.

Merchandise shipped from Mechanics Warehouse is always complete and properly packaged. It is the customers responsibility to see to it that any item returned is insured to its full retail value to protect the customer from loss. Any damage, loss, or missing claims must be made with the carrier. Unauthorized customer returns, or returns that are mis-shipped, mis-packaged, or mis-delivered, are not the responsibility of Mechanics Warehouse.
Mechanics Warehouse supports manufacturer warranties only. If an item is defective,
customer must contact the manufacturer for instructions on replacement or repair.
Mechanics Warehouse is also not responsible for items installed that will effect
Prices are subject to change without notice
Although it is not our intention, but Pricing errors can happen on our site. Mechanics Warehouse reserves the right to adjust prices if errors are found on the site. This includes items that are ordered, and discovered by us before shipment. If an error is discovered, we will email the customer and explain the situation and offer a choice to cancel the order or pay the correct amount.
Installation is the responsibility of the customer. We do suggest that a professional or certified installation service install all items we sell. Please do not install an item that is defective, damaged or you wish to return. Installed items are non refundable.
We work very hard to keep our site error free, however we are not responsible for typographical errors or if manufacturers make changes to their products. Again, please refer to manufacturer for questions on items before purchasing.
Can I demand a refund on my item because shipping took too long? We are sorry, but we are not responsible for shipping. You must keep and pay for the item in accordance to our terms.
You, as the customer are responsible to make sure the right part is ordered. Mechanics Warehouse can not be held responsible for errors in ordering. Our shopping cart at the time of purchase shows what manufacturer item # you are ordering along with a description. Please double check your selection and visit the manufacturer website for more information before purchasing..
