The majority of products available
at Mechanics Warehouse are returnable.
To initiate a return, you must request
a Return Authorization
Number (RMA#) within
14 days of receipt of the product.
All items must have an RMA# and
be received in a new, unused and
ready-to-sell condition (including
all original packaging, parts, and
paperwork) to receive a refund,
excluding any shipping costs.*Some
items come with wording "Free
shipping", this just means
that the shipping costs are included
in the total sale price with no
additional charges. If you want
to return any item, shipping costs
are nonrefundable. Before returning
an item, you must get an RGA number
and find out how much shipping truely
was for the item. Your refund will
be the price you paid minus shipping
costs and restock fee.
Any products refused upon delivery
(other than damage to product) is
also subject to 20% return fee and
customer is responsible for shipping
charges of the product both ways.
All electronic products, such
as radar detectors and engine
programmers, are non-returnable
unless approved by manufacturer.
Mechanics Warehouse does not
accept returns on installed items,
custom-painted products or items
shipped via truck freight.
Most items carry a 20% Restocking
Mechanics Warehouse will not
reimburse labor charges or installation
fees under any circumstances.
Orders placed using PayPal must
be finalized and item inspected
before any credit will be issued.
All return items require a Return
Merchandise Authorization Number

24-48 hours (allow additional

with an RMA#.
Shipments received without a
valid RMA# clearly posted on the
outside of the box will be charged
a 20% restocking fee.
Mechanics Warehouse is not responsible
for items returned without proper
return information (customer's
name, address and RMA#) on or
in the box.
If an item arrives in an unacceptable
condition as a result of a manufacturer
defect, we will send you a pre-paid
return shipping label and then
reship a replacement..
To get a shipping label and a
valid RMA#, see our full return
procedure above. Once you've received
the label and the RMA#, ship the
defective item as instructed by
customer support. Once we've confirmed
the package is in transit we'll
ship you a replacement or credit
Claims must be filed by you with our company within 1-3 business days, depending on the item. Anything past this time will be 100% the customers responsibility to handle with the manufacturer direct.
A 20% restocking fee also applies
to all returns and to the following:
Shipments returned without a proper
Return Authorization Number (RMA#)
clearly posted on the box or label
Orders placed for the incorrect
model or year of your vehicle or
bed size of truck. Please make sure
you are ordering the correct part
number before ordering.
Because manufacturers are constantly
changing vehicle designs, we do
not guarantee an older part will
fit a newer vehicle and vice versa.
Ordering a product not specifically
designed for your vehicle (for example,
a 2006 model truck cover ordered
for a 2007 vehicle) is done at your
own risk and be charged a restocking
fee if returned.
All returned item(s) will be inspected
upon receipt and must meet the
following criteria for a credit:
You must allow shipping time
and inspection of item. Inspection
can take up to 4 business days
upon item being received.
The item(s) must be returned
in a new and resaleable condition
All items returned for a refund
or exchange must be in a new and
ready-to-sell condition. This
includes all installation hardware,
instructions, packaging and paperwork.
The returned package must be clearly
labeled with a proper Return Authorization
Items returned without an RMA#
clearly displayed on the box will
be charged a 20% restocking fee.

The original credit card used
to place the order will be credited
for the purchase price of the
item and any applicable sales
tax, excluding all shipping costs.
Please allow an additional 5-7
business days for your bank to
process the credit to your account.
Items to be replaced must meet
the same conditions as items returned
to Mechanics Warehouse for a refund.
Non-defective items returned for
exchange must be in a new and
ready-to-sell condition with all
original packaging, paperwork
and parts included. Defective
items must also be returned with
the same items included in the

we will ship your new item after
we receive and process your return.
Please allow 5-10 business days
to process your return once it
has been received. A restocking
fee may apply.
Shipments without a proper Return

Full return procedure
Most of the items available at
Mechanics Warehouse may be returned
for full or partial credit. However,
some items for your specific vehicle
are not returnable.
