Putnam Hitches

Headquartered in Bronson, Michigan, Putnam Hitch Products is a family owned and run manufacturer of trailer hitches and towing accessories. Founded in the early 1960’s by C.J. Putnam, Putnam Hitch Products began by producing precision crafted hitchballs for the towing industry. For almost two decades, Putnam Hitch Products built their reputation providing other towing industry manufacturers with the largest selection of precision-made hitchballs available.

In the early 80’s, Putnam Hitch Products expanded their offerings to include receiver hitches for cars, trucks and vans. As the vehicle market evolved, Putnam Hitch Products kept pace by developing hitches for the new vehicles like the SUV.

Before you begin selecting a Towing System you must first know the following: Your Vehicle information (Year, Make Model, Vehicle maximum towing capacity) and Your Trailer information (Trailer Type, Coupler Size, Tongue Weight, Gross Trailer Weight)
