BD now offers Brand NEW Powerstroke
injectors that are manufacturered
to Ford, Caterpillar and Navistar
specifications. Only new current
production has tungsten coated
plungers that prevents any sticking
and increase the injector life.
They test as new and perform
as only a new part built to
high quality standards can.
Warranty is 2 Years on the
parts and one year labor coverage.
Core charges do apply but are
credited 100% on prompt return.
BD's rebuilt injectors are
tested and verified electronically
and then mechanically calibrated
in matched sets. The injector
is checked for fuel flow at
different levels to duplicate
idle, mid and high engine rpm
and load. The Nozzle spray pattern
is inspected and the release
pressure is set. Matting surfaces
are lapped to ensure no leakage
occurs within the body.
The XXX Pulse injectors add
80 more rear wheel Hp. When
using these high performance
injectors we suggest a X Power
chip with special engine tuning
be installed to adjust the time
of injection that insures a
good clean fuel burn as well
as good operating temperatures.
A new High flow quick responce
turbo is also required.
Any year PowerStroke cores
will be accepted. Fire damaged
units will result in the core
being rejected.

High Flow Injectors
High Flow Injectors It's a fact-some
Bosch fuel nozzles inject more
fuel and make more power than
others. Let BD�s
31 years of fuel injector experience
work for your 1991-'98 Cummins
5.9 liter 6BTA 12-valve or ISB
24 valve engine with a calibrated
fuel injector kit. Included with
the kit is a metered turbocharger
waste gate orifice that increases
turbo boost for the correct air
fuel ratio and significant power
gains of 20-40 rear wheel horsepower,
depending on the application.
For high-performance and race
applications, BD now offers its
X-Pulse injectors, which have
been manufactured with and extra
hole in the nozzle to increase
fuel delivery beyond stock specifications.
These new injectors produce 30-50
rear wheel horsepower, while BD
XXX-Pulse injectors produce 60-90
rear wheel horsepower.
When choosing BD XXX-Pulse injectors,
BD recommends electronic engine
timing modifications and a power
matched turbocharger. In addition,
modifications to the drivetrain
to handle the extra torque load
may be necessary. Please call

Injectors
The 6.5 injector is referred
to as a pintle style injector,
which is commonly used in an engine
with pre-combustion cylinders.
The injector has a needle plunger
that plugs off the spray hole
when it is closed. Once the pump
allows fluid flow to the particular
cylinder, the high fuel pressure
forces the pintle away from the
hole seat and the fuel stream
is injected through the pre-combustion
chamber into the combustion chamber.
This type of engine often runs
dirtier than a direct injected
engine and the injectors require
replacing between 80-100 thousand
miles.
We offer new high flow Bosch
injectors for this application
or new stock injectors as well.
